Connie Rose, Solo Show: Is Truth An Illusion?

ARTIST TALK: Saturday November 19th at 5:00 PM

connie-rose-interviewBritish artist Connie Rose’s abstract work is a fresh and exciting mix of abstraction and surrealism with a contemporary mix of mediums. Music, meditation and breath-work are key components to the creation of Rose’s paintings which take the viewer on a colorful journey of electrifying visual energy to meditative imagined worlds. These worlds tap into a primal feeling that the viewer is both shaken and settled by, it is both truth and illusion. Rose explores the limitless possibilities of universes and existence with deep intuition, passion and wonder.

Recently Rose was commissioned to create the artwork for Dot Demo’s album, ‘Outer Body Experience’, the original artwork will be on display for One Art Space’s show. Rose’s abstract work has been featured in several art publications and is in both editions of the ‘Yo New York’ book for the MoMa Ps1. Rose’s New York studio has been featured in Forbes and her work is collected worldwide. Rose murals can be found in New York, London and Central America including the 90ft Library mural for Yeshiva University, NYC.
