Tread on the Heels of the Future in Fine Art in a Noteworthy Exhibition

Accompany on a journey of an art form that has acculturated, preceding its perceived origins at the 40 + One = paintings by Mark Anthony Hill exhibition on Dec. 22nd – Jan. 6th at One Art Space, 23 Warren St, Tribeca.

This exhibition depicts the development of Mark Anthony Hill, an emerging fine artist. The show is produced and curated by D.I.P Promotions LLC owner Phil Murphy.

Mark Anthony Hill in his seventh NYC showing will hang 19 original works in one of the most important solo exhibitions to close out a tumultuous year. Hill’s paintings are the definition Of elegance and strength, he draws on both African visual culture and twentieth-century European cubism creating a new vital interpretation for the 21st century. The colors are strikingly vibrant in the absence of empty space, not allowing for casual glances as you pass forcing you to study each individual piece. After a review of Hill’s work, you begin to acquire the strength of his conviction and begin to define what you are really experiencing, scholarly art on a purely emotional level.

“I go where the art leads” – Mark Anthony Hill

As a former Olympic bobsledder representing the Jamaican National team, Hill demonstrates the testicular fortitude needed to create 7ft.-8ft. masterpieces. Every stroke is deliberate and space calculated. Hill is transcending into one of the greats of his generation and generations to come. Collectors are looking for originality, in recent years that is becoming harder for them to find. Mark Anthony Hill is breath of fresh air, his work is pleasure, adventure, mystery, detective work, and discovery all rolled up into one. A unique microcosm of reality.

The opening reception will be held December 22, 2020, from 6pm – 9pm where Hill will be hosting a book signing for his collector’s edition “Catalogue Raisonne” that is narrated by Phil Murphy.
