Our Mission

It opened its doors in the heart of Tribeca at 23 Warren Street with its first exhibition in May of 2011. One Art Space is located on the ground level, encased by a front glass window that expands outward by 14.5 feet.

This utterly unique and versatile space for exhibitions provides the perfect backdrop for the artwork and artist to shine. By featuring a variety of international and local contemporary artists in Tribeca, NY, One Art Space showcases the artist’s progression through stages of life, and further highlights the narrative of contemporary art.

MaryAnn Giella McCulloh

MaryAnn Giella McCulloh serves as co-owner, gallerist and curator of One Art Space in the heart of Tribeca NY. MaryAnn’s brother Dan Giella was the founder of One Art Space established in 2011. MaryAnn grew up around creativity—Joe Giella, her father, was the legendary superhero Batman artist who was hired by the great Stan Lee. MaryAnn and Dan grew up at their father’s drafting table and learned that art isn’t just a hobby or passion but a viable career. The United States Postal Service honored Joe Giella by using his art on two postage stamps in the DC Comics Superheroes Collection, featuring The Green Lantern and The Flash. Joe Giella also received a Harvey Award for his lifetime achievement for decades of charity work and his contribution to the comic book arts.

MaryAnn brings experience in high-end logistics brokering, business development, and executive sales. As a curator, she specializes in fine arts, secondary market art, and blue chip art sales. She plans to continue to discover new talent alongside showcasing museum-quality secondary market art. One Art Space is also dedicated to fostering community engagement and empowering young artists, including partnering with Free Arts NYC for an exhibition that showcased artwork from local students.

ONE ART SPACE presents PURVIS YOUNG upcoming Exhibit February 2026. Purvis Young’s (1943-2010) work is found and celebrated at the museum and institutional level like The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Whitney Museum of American Art and the Smithsonian American Art Museum among many others while also finding a home in many private collections as well.

The gallery has presented a wide range of artistic expression from artists including Akihiro Nishino, Al Diaz, Andrew Salgado, Robert Whitman Photographer, Shepard Fairey, Swoon, and Tim Okamura to name just a few.

One Art Space was created with the idea to cultivate, develop, and promote both the established artist, but also introduce new artists to the New York Art community’s aesthetic diversity.

The gallery also has a focus on supporting equity in art, exemplified by its phenomenal Women’s Month exhibition. One Art Space continues to grow and contribute to the New York Art Scene. Our mission is to create a place where the giants of art history and the visionaries of art’s future come together in One Art Space.
