Exhibition hours: 12-6pm

Event brings together works by 51 artists from around the world, alongside a digital Times Square showcase featuring 23 artists

One Art Space will host Artist Talk Magazine New York as part of a weeklong contemporary art exhibition bringing together a diverse group of inspirational and emerging artists from around the world in the heart of Tribeca.

Presented at One Art Space, located at 23 Warren St. in New York City, the exhibition showcases the work of fifty-one artists whose practices span painting, photography, abstraction, conceptual art, mixed media and contemporary visual storytelling. The program is designed to create a platform for creativity, conversation and cultural exchange, while placing emerging and established international voices within one of New York’s most active downtown art communities. The media kit notes that the exhibition will feature fifty-one artists from around the world and will be open to the public from May 6th through May 10th.

The event will also connect the Tribeca exhibition to one of New York’s most iconic public spaces through a digital Artist Talk Magazine presentation in Times Square. The billboard showcase, located at 1560 Broadway between 46th and 47th streets, will feature 23 artists and run four times per hour from midnight until 11:00pm on May 7th. The billboard measuring 31 feet high by 55 feet wide places the artists before a major pedestrian audience in one of the world’s most recognizable cultural and commercial corridors.

Among the featured works is “NYC” by artist Grant Milne, an oil on canvas measuring 130 centimeters (51”) by 178 centimeters (70”). The work, depicting the pace and atmosphere of the city, will be offered through a bidding process beginning at £1 ($1.36), with bidding scheduled to close at 5:00pm on Thursday, May 7th. Milne’s wider practice has included portraiture and urban scenes, with past presentation highlights including Piccadilly Circus in London.

Artist Talk Magazine, which launched its inaugural print and digital issue in July 2017, has built its platform around the belief that every artist has a story to share. Its past editorial features have included cultural institutions, artists and brands such as the Courtauld Institute of Art, the Royal Academy of Arts, the Whitney Museum of American Art, Lucian Freud, Alberto Giacometti, William Kentridge, Louvre Abu Dhabi, Museo Picasso Malaga, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The Artist Talk Magazine New York exhibition at One Art Space will be open to the public with free entry from noon to 6:00pm the exhibition continues through Sunday, May 10th.
