NOTICE: In accordance with New York City mandate, all visitors age 12 and older must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and must provide proof of vaccination of at least one dose against COVID-19 with another form of identification in order to enter into One Art Space. Mask must be worn inside the gallery at all times for all visitors over the age of two.

“In His Steps…” is a group exhibition curated by Grace Yeonsook Ji. This exhibition features the work of three Artists: WonSook Kim, Hei Myung Hyun and Namsook Kwon. Grace Yoensook Ji personally selected these three artists for a simple narrative that expresses their work and channels their passion through the praise of God. Each of these artists’ body of works echoes, reflects, and complements each other as individual pieces and in unison.
One Art Space brings together these three artists who want to glorify God through their works to produce a theme of choice. In His Steps through the moon path, the water path, the path of this world, and the sky path to space and his kingdom. Join us on this beautiful journey that offers glimpse of a multifaceted and ongoing rapport dialogue.

Namsook Kwon
Wonsook Kim is deeply in touch with the subject of human emotion which provides
continues source of inspiration. Her life’s work is to paint invisible images of the invisible world. Her painting is diary of her life which make us sing from fear and embrace each other magically. Wonsook Kim has B.S. degree in 1975 and continued her studies at Illinois State, earning a Master of Arts degree in 1976 and Master of Fine Arts degree in 1978 and now named the Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts at Illinois State University. Illinois State University awards Kim with an honorary Doctor of Arts degree. Recognized as Artist of the Year in 1995 by the United Nations. The World Federation of the United Nations Associations issued a Stamp in 1995 with print titled ‘Full Moon Lady’’ in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the United Nations. She has a prolific body of works and exhibited in galleries and museums in the United States and abroad in the International Art world.
Hei Myung Hyun bring the humble and blessed Garden of God and to listen to the beautiful and mysterious symphonies. Her work will produce the fruits of artistic desire in your heart. Hei Myung Hyun has a MFA degree in 1971 from Hartford Art School, University of Harwtford, Connecticut, 1966–69 The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and 1965 BFA, College of Fine Arts, Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea. Hei Myung Hyun has been actively creating and exhibiting for over six decades with over 40 solo and selected group exhibitions in the United States and in the international Art World. Based in California, this 78-year-old master has continued to keep creating her work every day and sing like never before.
Namsook Kwon’s story begins with Israelites’ life in the wilderness. She wants to show us everything is within His plan, the only thing left within her is His grace and overwhelming gratitude in his perfect time schedule, Kairos. Among the collection she’s showing the cross paintings are a gift from God during the pandemic. Namsook have read and meditated on bible verses daily and painted 220 pieces. It was truly a blessed time of concentrating on Christ. She is hoping God’s lights are shone on all over the world. Namsook Kwon has a BFA from Sejong University in Korea. She has 8 solo shows and over 200 selected group exhibitions. She is an artist who is also a pastor’s wife, who has a cultural mission within her artwork to present God’s words.
