A decade of freedom and prosperity, animated by the jazz bands, in the old ’20s the surrealists showed their work for the first time. But, did Picasso, Salvador Dali, or Joan Miro know at that moment that they were writing history?

One hundred years later here we are along with 40 contemporary artists to show NYC what art looks like in THE NEW 20’s ART SHOW with a qualified collection of sculptures, paintings, digital paintings, photography, and virtual reality. Many of them are debuting in art galleries in the capital of the world. That’s why in this event, guests will have the opportunity to learn some of the stories behind the artwork in the “Moments with the Artist”, short interviews made with the creators in pills throughout both days of the show. Another way to interact with the art will be the contest, where guests will vote on their favorite piece of the exhibit. The result will be revealed at the end.

This is the 2nd event produced by Start Shows, a company of artists/curators whose mission is to help artists have a start in the art scene of New York, made in partnership with One Art Space.

“I don’t evolve, I am. In art, there is no past, no future. The art that is not in the present will never be.” – Pablo Picasso
