Opening reception: Thursday, December 17, 2020, from 6 pm to 9 pm.
Exhibition Hours: Friday, December 18 through Sunday, December 20, 2020 from 1 pm to 8 pm.

As NYC is reopening, what a perfect time for artists to rise up and come together at One Art Space Gallery at 23 Warren Street in Tribeca, NYC to exhibit amazing works of Art in multiple mediums including, paintings, drawings, photography, cartoons, comics, sculpture, and mixed media for you to enjoy and immerse yourself in the stories of many talented artists.

You will have the opportunity to meet the featured artists and ask them questions about their art, as well as collect unique pieces of contemporary art history most of which were created during the quarantine!

This event will follow all the guidelines of social distancing. Please be prepared to wear a mask or face covering at all times in the gallery. Your temperature will be checked before entering the gallery with an electronic thermometer reader.

Due to NYC social distancing rules, you can reserve a 1 hour time window to see the show. Tickets are donation based starting at only $1, you can give as much as you’d like to donate.

50% of all ticket proceeds will be donated to Artworks the Naomi Cohain Foundation (A not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving the healthcare experience of pediatric patients through the arts. ArtWorks provides children and young adults starting from birth to age 24 facing chronic and life-limiting illnesses, and their families, access to creative and performing arts programs that serve as a vehicle for healing, communication, self-expression, and personal development.) The organizers of NY Rises Art Exhibition

Sophocles is a published comic artist, art show curator, author, fine artist, VR painter, and Art teacher. He has exhibited art in 40+ art shows and has curated 20+ shows in Tribeca, the Lower East Side, Dumbo, Brooklyn, and Astoria, Queens. He is an expert in Google’s Tilt Brush VR painting and sculpting program.  His art has been featured on TV on the Brooklyn 12 News, the Staten Island Advance newspaper, radio, You Me Nyc magazine, websites, The Jump into the Light podcast, and blog interviews. He has published 4 books and published his comics and illustrations as well.

Thais is a Brazillian painter, curator, and art teacher who has exhibited art in NYC in Tribeca, the lower east side, Dumbo, Brooklyn, Brazil, London, Paris. She has clients in Belgium, Germany, Italy, NY, New Jersey, and Brazil.
